StandardsPro Work Measurement Software is a complete engineered standards development
tool designed specifically to create, maintain, retrieve, and analyze time standards
for all types of work. You can create individual, measurable units of work that
describe short-cycle and highly repetitive tasks as well as data for work
that is long-cycle and unique. By using a hierarchical data structure, these
individual units of work can then be combined into standards and eventually into plans for parts,
components and products.
To assure consistency of application and a high degree of accuracy, the work measurement software
utilizes a robust database management system. The features of this system are
evident throughout the StandardsPro application:
-
Easy to use search capabilties and flexibility of search techniques allows
many combinations of data to be retrieved and reported on.
-
A consistent, intuitive interface design assures ease of use and encourages
the use of standard data.
-
Customizable fields, list boxes and display properties mean that the application
and development of the data is based upon your organization's needs and objectives.
Since StandardsPro Work Measurement Software is based upon MOST technique, you are assured of uniformity
among applicators, detailed method analysis, and accurate time standard calculations.
For example:

Mass Update
Frequently due to method, equipment, or parts changes, certain elements will
need to be updated in many or all operations and/or plans. The StandardsPro
Work Measurement Software Mass Update feature provides the capability to automatically search the
database and make the changes with just a few keystrokes.
History
Using the History feature, the work measurement software maintains electronic records of
all changes to the database. The analyst can then view any individual
element to see when and why any changes may have occurred.
Auxiliary Data
Auxiliary Data allows you to attach additional information to sub-operations,
operations, and plans. Some typical applications of Auxiliary Data
are: Applicator Instructions, Operator Instructions, and Safety Notes.
Customization
The work measurement software provides the analyst the ability to customize Operation and
Plan level information to meet his/her own specific needs. A customization
wizard walks the analyst through this simple process.
